I’ve known Asal for about 2 and a half years now.  She was one of my managers while I was working at Pottery Barn.  (I can’t believe it’s already been that long…  Time flies…..)  I feel lucky when she asked me to shoot her engagement photos.  Asal’s so pretty…not to mention her ring…  That ring’s pretty massive. 

So to move on, the three of us, Asal, Asal’s fiance Arash, and I went over to Ambleside Park which is located in North Vancouver.  I’ve never been here before so it was interesting to shoot there and try to pick out nice spots to shoot on the fly.  It was fun and I got some beautiful photos of the 2 of them and their dogs.

ALSO!  I got to borrow my brother’s girlfriend’s Canon 5d Mark II with a 24-70mm f/2.8 lens.  I’m still in awe that I got to use such spectacular photography equipment.  I’m dying to get my own.  I’m sad that they’re so expensive.  I feel like a geek when it comes to equipment but it makes such a huge difference.  So, Thank you to Sandy Tam for lending me your camera!!  I couldn’t have gotten these shots without it!!
